Dubois County Airport Authority

The DCAA operates the Huntingburg Regional Airport (KHNB), originally a grass-dirt airstrip founded by Frosty Jones in 1938. Since then the airport has grown into a full-service general aviation facility supporting over 14,600 annual takeoffs and landings. In 2021, runway expansions included Indiana’s first public airport tunnel. The DCAA serves as the fixed base operator, offering refueling, hangar space, and maintenance, while Dubois County Flight Services focuses on aircraft management, sales, leasing, and maintenance. The airport houses over 30 aircraft in its 13 hangars, accommodating single-engine planes to corporate jets.
